Permanent Role
Salary: Up to 55,000 + 3500 Car Allowance
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Huddersfield team.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
This role is part of a large social housing project, scope of works includes:
Internal & external refurbishment to two six-storey blocks of flats.
Fire door replacement & fire stopping works.
Installation of sprinkler systems (flats & communal areas).
Bathroom replacements & electrical works.
New boiler installations.
Low-level brickwork cleaning.
External wall insulation, new windows & doors.
Solar PV installation for new electrical boilers.
Flat roof replacement.
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead, assess, and take responsibility for electrical works in kitchen & bathroom maintenance/refurbishment programmes.
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and work with H&S Managers/Advisors.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date Health & Safety records.
Enforce Environmental and Waste Management policies.
Ensure all staff, sub-contractors, and visitors are inducted appropriately.
Comply with Customer Satisfaction policies and procedures.
Ensure staff adhere to specifications and policies.
Implement all site procedures and controls effectively.
Motivate, support, and manage site staff, providing training, coaching, and appraisals.
Maintain high standards of site presentation.
Organise regular site meetings, pre-plan, and ensure efficient resource usage.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum Level 4 qualification (NVQ4 / HNC) or equivalent experience.
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
Scaffold Inspection certification.
Valid CSCS card.
Asbestos awareness (Duty to Manage desirable).
Full UK driving licence.
Strong communication skills.
Desirable Requirements:
Experience working in the social housing sector.
