We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and forward-thinking primary care team in Huddersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a supportive GP practice environment. As our Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering a wide range of clinical services, including:
  • Chronic disease management (e.g., asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension
    Treatment room duties (wound care, immunisations, cervical screening, ear irrigation)
    Childhood and adult vaccinations
    Health promotion and lifestyle advice
    Supporting QOF and other practice targets
    Working collaboratively with GPs, ANPs, HCAs, and the wider multidisciplinary team
We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a registered Nurse (NMC-registered) with primary care experience (preferred, but not essential
  • Has strong clinical assessment skills and a commitment to continuing professional developmen
  • Is confident working autonomously as well as within a team
  • Has excellent communication and patient engagement skills
  • Holds relevant clinical qualifications (e.g., cytology, immunisation training) or is willing to undertake them
