Butler Rose are delighted to partner with a long standing and friendly firm seeking to appoint an experienced Payroll Administrator on a 12 Month Contract basis to join a friendly payroll team based in the Huddersfield area.This varied role requires an experienced payroll professional with previous expertise in a similar payroll full end to end position, processing both small and high volume payrolls at multiple intervals weekly/fortnightly or monthly basis. In-house payroll and bureau/umbrella payroll experience considered. Role Responsibilities
- Process payrolls on weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis
- PAYE, RTI submissions and HMRC liaison
- Undertake auto enrolment/pensions
- Process starters/leavers, process P45/P46 & P60s
- Deal with SSP/SMP/SPP
- Deal with maternity/paternity calculations, statutory payments & deductions
- Process employee payments, updates with pension providers
- Undertake payroll enquiries in a confident and polite manner
Person Specification
- Prior experience within a similar full end to end payroll processing role dealing with weekly/monthly payrolls
- Knowledge payroll systems (training can be provided)
- Good attention to detail, be a team player and possess good communication skills
- Able to work on own initiative and able to work to deadlines.
