As a scheduler or planner, you will be Directly working under head ofproject managementandcollaboratewith Programme Managers and business functions. Responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning: Consult with Programme Managers and internal departments to understand the structure, sequence and relationships of project and programme schedules.
  • Schedule Development: Develop schedules that accurately reflect the sequence of activities, durations, resources and critical paths to deliver projects and programmes.
  • Schedule Baseline Management:Controlconfiguration of Project Baseline Schedules.
  • Schedule Maintenance:Collaboratewith internal departments to maintain the schedules: update progress, record actual durations and adjust sequencing as required.
  • Assessment: Evaluate schedule performance, to identify deviations, conflicts and potential delays.
  • Reporting: Report schedule performance to Project and Programme Managers, along with potential corrective actions.
  • Schedule Integration: Manage the integration of schedules for linked projects and programmes.


Work Experience

Required Skills (TechnicalCompetency):

  • Proven work experience as a Project Scheduler on complex projects
  • Effective at planning,monitoringand reviewing
  • Experience working in a manufacturing orengineeringenvironment would be highly beneficial
  • Proficiency inproject schedulingsoftware, preferably MS Project, is essential
  • Experience working withSAP or a similar ERP would be highly beneficial

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/masters degree or equivalentbusiness managementor related field.
  • Certification as a scheduling professional would be advantageous (PMI-SP for example)
  • Excellent communication skills: confident interacting with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strongorganisational skills: multi-tasking, time management, planning.
  • Relationship building capable of forming and maintaining effective relationships, throughout the business and stakeholder community.
  • Good analytical skills and able to draw sound conclusions
  • Able to adjust thought process and plan when the information or situation changes
  • Computer literate with use of Microsoft Office.
  • Goodwritten and verbal communicationskills.
