Role - Cleansing Driver ( Household waste)

Pay - 12.59

Hours - Mon - Thurs - 5:30am - 2:30pm Friday - 5:30am - 11:30am

The Thrive Group is currently looking for a skilled and reliable Cleansing Driver to operate HGV vehicles, mechanical sweepers, and refuse collection vehicles.

You'll collect household and trade waste, lead and support colleagues on route, and help identify and report issues that improve our streets and environment.

What we're looking for:

• Holds a valid LGV Class C licence and valid CPC to be able drive vehicles up to 32 tonnes (e.g. HGV Class 2).
• Banks man trained and able to move vehicles safely.
• Ability to interpret maps, work schedules, make judgements in relation to collection or sweeping arrangements.
• Ability to carry out physically demanding work
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work outdoors in all weather and on some bank holidays
