Stafflex Education specialises in connecting dedicated and skilled education professionals with schools across West Yorkshire. We are looking for resilient and confident Cover Supervisors to support our secondary school partners in Huddersfield on a day to day and short term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong classroom behaviour management skills who are confident working independently and capable of leading a class in the teacher's absence.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage secondary school classrooms, deliver pre-set lesson plans, and maintain a positive and productive learning environment. You will need to adapt quickly to different school settings, demonstrate authority, and remain calm and professional under pressure.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising lessons across various subjects using pre-set plans

• Ensuring students remain focused and on task

• Implementing strong behaviour management strategies

• Creating a calm and engaging classroom environment

• Recording attendance and logging key information using school systems

• Providing feedback to school staff as required
