The Role of a One to One SEMH Support Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 support for secondary pupils with SEMH needs
- Support emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and engagement in lessons
- Assist with differentiated learning, routines, and therapeutic strategies
- Help implement individual behaviour plans, IEPs, and targets
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, families, and external professionals
