A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Qualified Primary Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Huddersfield from Easter 2025 until the end of the academic year. This role will involve supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Provide tailored support to individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning.
Support children with varying educational needs, including those with SEN.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
Encourage positive behaviour and support emotional well-being.
Supervise pupils during break times, lunch, and other school activities.
Contribute to school events and extracurricular activities.
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and primary education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to support children with different learning styles and needs.
