Day-to-Day of the Role:- Develop and implement individualised educational plans tailored to the specific needs of each child.
- Employ innovative teaching methods that enhance learning and cater to the cognitive and emotional needs of children with autism.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support for each student.
- Engage with parents and guardians to provide updates and encourage home-school collaboration.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest in special needs education.
- Proven experience as a Special Needs Teacher, specifically with a focus on autism.
- A recognised teaching qualification and a clear DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- A strong desire to go above and beyond to support children with special needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
