Sonic Summary

info
  • This position is for a Business Travel Team Leader at an independent travel company focused on the sports and corporate sector.
  • Candidates should have experience as a Senior Business Travel Consultant or be an existing Team Leader with a passion for leading a team.
  • The role involves managing a small team while maintaining hands-on responsibilities in booking corporate travel arrangements.
  • The company values accuracy and service over KPIs, offering a supportive environment with minimal micromanagement.
  • A competitive salary is offered, and candidates must have prior experience in Business Travel and familiarity with a GDS, preferably Galileo.

Fancy working for an independent business travel company where you’ll be looking to grow a team under your leadership?

Our latest role is absolutely perfect for you if you’re either:

  • A Senior Business Travel Consultant who’s looking to take a step up into a Team Leader position.

  • An existing Team Leader in Business Travel who’s keen to start afresh somewhere!

What’s so great about it and why should you apply?

  • You’ll be working for a small travel company with a fabulous client base focused on the sports and corporate sector.

  • You’ll be a valued member of a business that’s consistently growing solidly year on year and being recommended by clients for their personalised, bespoke service.

  • With the acquisition of regular new clients, you’ll be initially managing 2 people but will also be instrumental in growing the team.

  • The role is still very much hands on so you’ll also not let go of your reservations roots and still be booking corporate travel arrangements.

  • You’ll be based in a town centre office where you can really influence the culture of this growing team.

  • No micro management from the people at the top, they trust their staff to do the job they were hired for and want you to continue that ethos as the company grows.

  • Very little focus given to KPI’s - it’s more about accuracy and service - you’ll have the time to prepare your clients quotes properly.

This Business Travel Team Leader role does require you to have worked in Business Travel and have used a GDS (Galileo is preferred but they're happy to cross train from Sabre or Amadeus). It’s also fully office based so please do ensure you’re happy to do that, Monday- Friday before you apply.

We look forward to hearing from you and telling you more about the company, the role and your potential new career path!
