This role will look after the day to day running of the finance function in a specialist sector of research, development and manufacture in west Hull.

THE ROLE:
Reporting into the Group head office, the Management Accountant will undertake a range of daily duties and responsibilities expected of a ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant.
Duties will include preparation of the monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasting, month end duties, P & L, budgets, variance analysis, accruals and prepayments, preparation of VAT returns and supervise an accounts assistant.
THE CANDIDATE:
You will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant, although candidates at finalist stage with the relevant skills and experience will also be considered.
A high standard of systems literacy is required and previous experience of working with ERP systems will be highly beneficial.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. The ability to liaise effectively right across a business is important in order to provide the information required for a successful decision-making process, often to deadline.
