Senior Finance Business Partner - newly created role due to new ownership

A thriving business near Hull looking for an experienced Qualified Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team. Reporting to and working closely with the CFO, the role will provide financial support and analysis, collaborating with different teams to ensure that financial projects align with the company's strategic goals and objectives. This role acts as a bridge between finance and other departments, offering financial insights and guidance to support decision-making processes.

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure financial viability and alignment with company objectives
  • Preparation and management of project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial plans.
  • Prepare and present financial reports related to projects, including cost analysis and variance reports
  • Maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, providing regular financial updates and insights
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial project management

You will be;

  • Qualified accountant CIMA/ACA/ACCA
  • Results-driven and performance-focused
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in financial analysis and reporting tools
