Position: Complex Care Nurse - Lead - Learning Disabilities

Location: Hull

Salary: 45,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Complex Care Nurse to join our team as a Lead Nurse. Our organization provides care and support to adults and children with learning disabilities and complex needs in the community. This is a permanent, office-based role with occasional community visits to provide support and guidance to our care team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the care team
  • Develop and maintain care plans for clients with complex needs
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate measures
  • Liaise with external healthcare professionals and agencies
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulations
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and appraisals of care staff
  • Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin
  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or complex needs
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards
