Shop Floor Co-ordinator

Overview of Role:

Prestige Recruitment Specialists provide their services directly to the client by operating through an on-site facility to supply their temporary labour requirements. The role involves working closely with all client personnel, managing the daily staffing requirements. You will liaise with all temporary staff relating to confirmation of weekly shifts, payment of wages, holiday requests and managing absence levels whilst working in accordance with the Agency Workers Regulations and Working Time Directive. There are daily/weekly/monthly reports to compile whilst consistently and conscientiously delivering against set KPIs. You will work closely with both our clients and the temporary workforce, building strong relationships with all parties and be required to attend meetings with production, planning and HR where requested to ensure sight of forecasts. Liaising with Head Office where appropriate will be necessary to discuss departmental needs for resourcing of additional/replacement labour. You should be a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills and a great team player.

Main Duties:

  • Morning checking
  • Site tour for New Starters
  • Facial scan to do on day one for new starters
  • Check on the shop floors Inc. PPE check, Hand wash,
  • Locker check
  • Canteen/ Toilets check
  • Liaising with HR department when needed
  • Coordinate Food Safety level 2 courses for agency staff
  • Translation when required - must speak and read/write in Romanian plus fluent English
  • Assisting to the production manager if and when required
  • Issue holiday forms / Gather information re wage query to resolve by Account Manager
  • Make overtime list

Person Specification:

You will:

  • Have previous recruitment experience (preferred) although full training is provided
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Be fluent in English both written and spoken;
  • Have the ability to speak Romanian/Polish would be advantageous
  • Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels;
  • Maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality at all times;
  • Be IT literate particularly with Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative;
  • Have the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines;
  • Have a full driving licence and own transport;
  • Have the desire, ambition, drive and commitment to being successful.
