Job Summary:
- We are currently representing a Category Manager role on behalf of our industry leading client based in the East Yorkshire region. The successful candidate will support the Senior Category Manager in driving delivery across the category. This is a developmental role suited to individuals with the ambition and attitude to grow within the business and further develop their strategic procurement skills.
Main Duties:
- Represent procurement in strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Support the development and execution of category strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage supplier relationships and contribute to supplier performance improvement.
- Analyse spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee and support the procurement analyst in operational tasks and provide cover when needed.
