MK Search & Selection are currently working with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of 150m and a strong national presence across sectors delivering across the pharmacuetical, life-science and data centre sectors who are looking for a mechanical construction manager to work on a 30m M&E pharma project in Hull, Yorkshire.
Reporting to a mechanical project manager, you will join from the very beginning of the install stage and be tasked with managing and motivating the specialist mechanical subcontractors to completion throughout the 2 year programme to PC.
Role/Responsibilities
- Management of subcontractor labour
- Attend site meetings
- Progress reports
- Prepare contract documents I.e. method statements, risk assessments, RFIs, etc.
- Health and safety
- Review and amend RAMS
- Snagging
- Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project.
