Your Role:

As a Skilled CNC Operator, you'll be responsible for the accurate and efficient production of high-quality components using a variety of CNC machinery. Your work will directly support our manufacturing process and ensure the reliability of our production line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines using Fanuc or similar
  • Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings
  • Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with a multi-skilled engineering team to solve problems and improve processes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop
What You Bring:Essential:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent apprenticeship
  • Proven experience in a hands-on machinist role
  • Strong background in CNC milling and turning
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Comfortable working with various metals and machining techniques
Desirable:
  • Experience in a similar manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Programming knowledge of CNC machines
  • Engineering degree or additional technical qualifications
