We're currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join our Clients growing team in Hull. What You'll Be Doing
Setup & Programming
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments
Set up CNC lathes and write/modify programs as needed
Turning Operations
Operate CNC lathes to perform precision turning
Adjust cutting parameters, speed, and tool settings
Monitor machine performance and correct issues promptly
Quality Control
Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with engineering specifications
Maintain high-quality standards across all operations
Machine Maintenance
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance
Ensure proper lubrication, cleanliness, and tool integrity
Health & Safety
Comply with all safety procedures
Wear correct PPE and report hazards promptly
What We're Looking For
Time-served Mechanical Engineering or CNC-specific apprenticeship
Proven experience operating CNC turning machines
Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining software
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Problem-solving mindset and a proactive attitude

Hours: Monday to Friday 07.00 - 15.00
Pension: 5% company contribution (min. 4% employee)
