We are seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor to work on National Highways schemes across Area 10 and Area 12. This is a key site-based role, responsible for supervising highway works, ensuring safety, quality, and programme delivery in line with National Highways standards.
You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and act as the main point of contact on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
路Supervise and manage day-to-day highway construction and maintenance activities
路Ensure works are delivered in compliance with National Highways standards and specifications
路Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance
路Deliver daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions
路Coordinate plant, labour, materials, and subcontractors
路Complete site records, permits, and reports accurately and on time
路Liaise with site management, clients, and stakeholders
Essential Requirements
路SSSTS or SMSTS (required)
路CAT & Genny ticket
路First Aid at Work
路National Highways Passport
路Proven experience supervising works on National Highways schemes
路Strong knowledge of highways construction and safety procedures
路Good communication and leadership skills
路Full UK driving licence
