About the Company:

Our client is a leading Shopfitting main contractor with extensive experience in managing retail and supermarket fit-out projects nationwide. Specialising in fast-track projects, they work with high-profile clients delivering quality fit-outs for supermarkets, retail outlets, and food retail environments.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Site Manager to oversee a range of fast-paced and high-pressure supermarket and retail fit-out projects. This is a key role that involves managing and coordinating on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, to budget, and to the highest standards. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, lead teams, and directly contribute to the smooth running of fast-track fit-out operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the delivery of supermarket and retail fit-out projects nationwide, ensuring projects run efficiently and safely.

Manage day-to-day operations on-site, including coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and the workforce.

Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, including maintaining SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS card.

Take a hands-on approach when required, leading by example on-site, especially during critical project phases.

Ensure quality control, manage costs, and proactively resolve any issues or delays.

Report to Project Managers, providing regular updates on project progress, timelines, and potential challenges.

Work effectively in live environments.

Coordinate and manage fast-track projects in high-pressure situations, maintaining a customer-focused approach.

Manage working hours flexibly, including nights and weekends when required.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Site Manager, ideally with supermarket or Shopfitting projects.

Qualifications: SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS Gold Card.

Experience: Demonstrable experience in fast-track fit-out projects, ideally in the supermarket or food retail sector.

Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Flexibility: Happy to work nationwide and willing to work nights and weekends.
