Applicants must be time served and be confident to oversee a busy credit control environment by showing tenacity, assertiveness and strong communication skills. THE ROLEFull time hours, office based.All aspects of credit control from assessing initial risk to solving queries.Proactively manage the reduction of the company's outstanding debt.Build and maintain relationships with clients throughout the credit procedure.Identify, investigate and resolve all issues with client accounts.Assess current procedures then implement new streamlined systems to improve efficiency.THE CANDIDATEApplicants must have a proven history working within Credit Control including managing high volume and complex debtors lists.Confidence to forge & develop business relationships in order to retrieve debt.Be able to accurately maintain customer contact, payments and records.Possess required knowledge to devise new credit systems and procedures.Be tenacious, assertive and possess strong negotiating skills.Possess wider knowledge in order to assist with other areas of accounts (Not essential).THE CONSULTANCY:Edwards & Pearce acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
