Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and qualified Data Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, fitting, and pulling fibre optic cables, data points, and other related infrastructure. This role requires a keen attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and fit fibre optic cables and data points.
Pull cables through conduits and other pathways.
Ensure all installations meet industry standards and safety regulations.
Test and troubleshoot installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of installations and service calls.
Provide excellent customer service and support.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in fiber optic installation or related field is highly desirable.
Proven experience in data installation and cable pulling.
Strong understanding of industry standards and safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in networking or telecommunications.
Experience with advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with various types of data cables and connectors.
