As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working in close partnership with teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning, helping our students build confidence, independence and a sense of achievement. You’ll provide tailored support to individual pupils and small groups, and contribute to a calm, purposeful learning environment where every young person feels safe, seen and supported. This role will predominantly be based in upper KS2 however flexibility to work across all levels of the school is required at times.You’re someone who has:

  • Motivation and enthusiasm to support children within school.
  • Understanding of pupil’s learning needs in order to support their access to lesson content.
  • The skills to help students to develop independent learning skills.
  • A warm and approachable manner, can be playful and instil boundaries.
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (min requirement) level 3 desirable.

We value the skills and dedication of our teaching assistants. To support the best outcomes for our students, we require a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). If you don’t yet hold this qualification, don’t worry! We’ll invest in your development by enrolling you in our Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Programme, helping you gain the behaviours, skills and experience you need to thrive in the role.About the school:
