Job Summary:

We are currently representing a role on behalf of our well established client based in the East Yorkshire region.

• This newly created role will act as the key liaison between production and internal departments, ensuring that technical and material issues raised during day-to-day manufacturing operations are logged, escalated and resolved promptly.

Main Duties:

• Act as the first point of contact for technical issues raised on the shop floor, ensuring timely triage and resolution.

• Assess, direct and escalate issues to the appropriate teams, including BOM, CAD, Purchasing, Technical, and Engineering.

• Maintain accurate logs of all raised issues using internal systems and action logs to ensure accountability and timely follow-up.

• Support Supplier Quality processes by gathering and providing clear evidence and context for reported concerns.

• Identify recurring issues, report trends, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing future disruptions.

Person Specification:

• Prior experience in a technical support, production or manufacturing coordination role.

• Familiarity with modular build, holiday home or general manufacturing environments is highly desirable.

• Strong internal stakeholder management skills and calm under pressure.
