Health & Safety Specialist (Circa 40k plus bonus)

Location: Hull

Job Summary: To play a crucial role in developing and implementing business safety processes and standards, with a strong focus on electrical safety. You will support our Senior Management Team and Quality, Health and Safety Manager in maintaining a safe working environment. Supporting with the fulfilment of all legal and compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and implement H&S policies consistently across the business.

Support regular Health and Safety meetings and initiatives.

Produce effective risk assessments and risk management strategies.

Monitor and ensure compliance with H&S legislation.

Investigate accidents and incidents to prevent reoccurrence.

Conduct audits and inspections for continual improvement.

Provide training and supervision to onsite engineers and contractors.

Manage PPE provision and certification.

Liaise with regulators during visits and inspections.

Qualifications:

NEBOSH General Certificate Qualified.

Experience in delivering HSE with a focus on electrical safety.

IOSH trained.

Understanding of H&S legislation and risk management.

Knowledge of workplace wellbeing initiatives.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to meet deadlines.
