As part of their continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled Shift Process Operator to their high-performing team.This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with a strong safety culture, modern equipment, and a clear focus on operational excellence.The Role:As a Shift Process Operator, you’ll be responsible for running and monitoring production through a Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across all stages of the process.Key responsibilities include:
  • Operating and monitoring automated production systems via DCS
  • Making adjustments based on system data and in-process checks
  • Recording production data, raw material usage, and quality control results
  • Working closely with laboratory teams to maintain quality standards
  • Managing raw materials, stock control, and storage procedures
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across production areas
  • Loading finished product for dispatch
  • Identifying and reporting any equipment faults or process deviations
  • Supporting a safe and compliant working environment through good housekeeping and safety practices
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience working in a DCS-controlled production environment (essential)
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing or process operations
  • Experience in sectors such as chemical, food, Process , or similar
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights)
  • Ideally have IOSH or Nebosh
  • A proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset
