Eaton Syalon are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a dynamic and fast growing business who are looking to recruit an experienced and driven Divisional Finance Manager to lead their shared service Accounts Team based in Hull. This is a fantastic, newly created opportunity for someone to play a key role in shaping the finance function of a diverse and growing business.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of an Accounts Teamof 8people, including both on-site and remote workers. Your role will be instrumental in delivering accurate and timely financial information to support effective business decision-making across multiple sites and operational teams.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of 8, ensuring a positive and productive working environment for both on-site and remote colleagues.

  • Oversee the daily operations of our shared service centre, ensuring efficient and effective performance across all financial processes.

  • Maintain and improve financial systems across the division, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

  • Drive timely and accurate financial accounting, including supplier and customer account setup, balance sheet reconciliation, and trial balance maintenance.

  • Lead the month-end close process and produce financial reports in line with group deadlines and standards.

  • Partner with Divisional Management Accountants to deliver key financial data and insights to local management teams.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, external legislation, and sustainability reporting requirements.

  • Collaborate with divisional leaders to uphold high service levels across finance functions.
