Hygiene Operative - Food Processing
Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Pay: 12.50 - 15 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday / 4on 4off - Days and Nights
Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting on behalf of a valued and long-standing client Cranswick Country Foods Preston, a leading food manufacturer based in Hull.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced food production environment with long-term career potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning factory machinery and factory shopfloor.
- Topping up PPE and self-cleaning stations.
- Following required work instructions and procedures.
- Conscientious, enthusiastic and willingness towards meeting deadlines.
- Work on your own initiative and work well in a team.
- Proactive with a desire and attitude to learn and develop.
- An excellent attitude towards Health and Safety and will be expected to work at a high standard.
- Experience with working in the industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Complying with Food Safety and Quality procedures at all times.
- Following required work instructions and procedures.
Shift Patterns (Monday to Friday)
Day Shifts: 6 am till finish - Monday to Friday (8h to 12h shifts)
Night Shifts: 6pm - 6am - 4on 4off
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as hygiene and food production or manufacturing is beneficial but not required
- Comfortable working in chilled conditions
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
