We are seeking a proactive and experienced Multiskilled Engineer with an electrical bias to maintain, repair, and improve our production equipment and facilities. The role involves ensuring the efficient running of machinery, reducing downtime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the company. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and implement effective repairs
  • Ensure machinery operates efficiently with minimal downtime
  • Support and improve automation, control systems, and electrical installations
  • Conduct routine inspections and servicing of production equipment
  • Maintain and update maintenance records and documentation
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Assist in projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency
  • Work closely with other departments to minimize disruption to production

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified in Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a similar multiskilled maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good mechanical knowledge and ability to support mechanical repairs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance
  • Full and clean driving license
