Health & Safety Specialist (Circa 拢40k plus bonus)

Location: Hull

Job Summary: To play a crucial role in developing and implementing business safety processes and standards, with a strong focus on electrical safety. You will support our Senior Management Team and Quality, Health and Safety Manager in maintaining a safe working environment. Supporting with the fulfilment of all legal and compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

路 Develop, review, and implement H&S policies consistently across the business.

路 Support regular Health and Safety meetings and initiatives.

路 Produce effective risk assessments and risk management strategies.

路 Monitor and ensure compliance with H&S legislation.

路 Investigate accidents and incidents to prevent reoccurrence.

路 Conduct audits and inspections for continual improvement.

路 Provide training and supervision to onsite engineers and contractors.

路 Manage PPE provision and certification.

路 Liaise with regulators during visits and inspections.

Qualifications:

路 NEBOSH General Certificate Qualified.

路 Experience in delivering HSE with a focus on electrical safety.

路 IOSH trained.

路 Understanding of H&S legislation and risk management.

路 Knowledge of workplace wellbeing initiatives.

路 Strong interpersonal skills and ability to meet deadlines.
