A leading injection-moulded plastics manufacturer, supplying major names in the automotive, heating, and cooling industries, is looking to expand their Engineering team by hiring an Electrical Automation Engineer.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead the planning, execution, and commissioning of automation and controls projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless asset integration while maintaining technical excellence, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of electrical automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engineering projects safely, to specification, within budget and on schedule
  • Ensure machinery and installations comply with safety standards and have up-to-date technical documentation
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to facilitate smooth asset introductions

About You:

  • Proven experience in electrical and mechanical design, robot integration, and automated processes
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, motion control, and modern communication protocols
  • Skilled in electrical installations and fault diagnosis

  • Confident personality with leadership and motivational abilities
  • Ideally educated to HND or degree level
