Litigation Paralegal – Hull

An established regional law firm is seeking a Paralegal to join its busy Litigation Team based in Hull. With interviews taking place over the next couple of weeks, this is a great opportunity to secure a role with real development potential and an immediate start available.

This position would suit either a graduate looking to break into the legal profession or someone already in a similar paralegal role looking to develop their skills in a supportive and professional environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be working closely with the Litigation team on a varied caseload, providing vital legal and administrative support. No two days will be the same and you’ll quickly develop hands-on experience across a range of tasks:

  • Drafting legal correspondence and court documents
  • Preparing hearing and trial bundles
  • Assisting with disclosure and compiling document summaries
  • Conducting legal research and updating case files
  • Liaising with courts, Counsel and opposing parties
  • Amending legal reports and case documentation
  • Managing and organising physical and digital files

What The Firm is Looking For

The firm is looking for someone with the drive to learn, the confidence to take initiative and the attention to detail needed in a litigation environment.

  • Strong academic background (law degree or equivalent preferred)
  • High level of organisation and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work
