A well-established organisation in the supply chain and logistics sector is currently recruiting for an experienced Fulfilment Manager to lead their busy fulfilment administration team based at their Head Office in Hull.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, commercially aware leader to take ownership of a vital function at the heart of the customer journey.
The Role
The Fulfilment Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order fulfilment process, ensuring that every customer order is processed efficiently, accurately, and with a strong focus on service excellence.
Working cross-functionally with Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse teams, this person will play a key role in maintaining high operational standards while leading, motivating, and developing their team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the fulfilment admin team.
- Promote a "customer-first" culture across the department.
- Ensure accurate sales order processing, supplier purchasing, and fulfilment planning.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance in all fulfilment activity.
- Serve as the escalation point for fulfilment or service issues, resolving them quickly and effectively.
- Lead and coach team members to support development and service consistency.
- Monitor performance and identify improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Liaise closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain profitability by overseeing purchasing accuracy and reducing errors or write-offs.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 3+ years' experience in a fast-paced fulfilment or order processing environment.
- Previous team management or supervisory experience in customer service or admin roles.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with a calm and methodical approach.
- Solid commercial awareness with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NAV, Business Central, or SAP (desirable).
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
- 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota
Salary & Benefits
- 37,500 - 40,000 depending on experience
