Logistics Coordinator duties and responsibilities
Logistic Coordinators improve business development and negotiate with suppliers. Other duties include:
- Using IT systems and digital devices
- Verifying and meeting established deadlines through management, product fulfilment, shipping and transportation cycle
- Reviewing costs, rates and invoicing clients
- Developing and analysing the budget and providing reports to management
- Managing logistics operations while controlling warehouse operations and advancing the efficiency of the supply chain
- Ensuring that shipping methods comply with rules, regulations and laws
- Coordinating logistics staff (e.g. truck/lorry drivers) according to requirements and availabilities.
