If you’re a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who wants more than just a "reset and hope" routine — this might be your kind of role.

We’re looking for engineers to join a well-established manufacturing site that still values experience, teamwork, and doing the job properly. The machinery’s big, the work’s varied, and the investment into the site is real — not just lip service.

Shifts:

  • Option 1: 4 on 4 off – 2 days, 2 nights (7am–7pm / 7pm–7am)

  • Option 2: Permanent Nights – Monday to Thursday, 10.5 hr shifts

What you’ll be doing:
  • Keeping plant and equipment running smoothly through PPM and reactive maintenance

  • Fault finding on hydraulics, pneumatics, drive chains, and motors

  • Welding, fabrication, fitting, and general mechanical work — no day (or night) the same

  • Contributing to improvements and getting stuck into proper engineering, not just firefighting

What you’ll need:
  • A mechanical bias, ideally with experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, or similar environments

  • A Level 3 qualification in Engineering (minimum)

  • Some experience with diagnostics and mechanical fault finding

  • Bonus points for fabrication, welding, or exposure to control systems

What you’ll get:
  • A choice of shifts that work for your home life

  • A close-knit, supportive team where you won’t get lost in the crowd

  • Decent benefits — pension, life assurance, share schemes, and more

This is a role for people who take pride in their work, enjoy proper engineering, and like the idea of being part of a team that keeps a factory running the right way.
