We are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of the on-site delivery of modular construction projects across the UK. This role is responsible for leading site operations from initial mobilisation through to final completion and client sign-off, ensuring installations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The Site Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating people, plant, and processes on site, acting as the main point of control for programme delivery, safety compliance, and quality assurance.

Role Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site activities relating to modular building installations.
  • Lead projects from site mobilisation through installation, commissioning, and final handover.
  • Develop, manage, and track installation programmes, ensuring progress aligns with agreed timelines and key milestones.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring work is carried out safely, to specification, and in line with programme requirements.
  • Undertake site inspections and surveys, feeding accurate technical and logistical information back to pre-construction and bid teams.
  • Assess and coordinate cranage operations, logistics planning, service interfaces, access arrangements, and ground conditions.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company standards, and site-specific requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and implement RAMS, permits, and other statutory site documentation.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture on site, ensuring incidents and near misses are recorded and addressed appropriately.
  • Enforce site rules and the Subcontractors’ Code of Conduct at all times.
  • Manage quality control processes to achieve a right-first-time installation and minimal or zero defects at handover.
  • Act as the primary point of contact on site for clients and stakeholders, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage site costs, variations, and resources to support efficient project delivery.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in a Site Manager role within construction, modular, or offsite building environments.
  • Strong understanding of installation sequencing, site logistics, temporary works, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, CDM requirements, and RAMS.
  • Confident leader with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and communicate effectively with site teams and clients.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide, with occasional overnight stays.
