Dispute Resolution Solicitor

Hull City Centre

50k to 60k DOE

Monday to Friday Office based

A well established and loyal client is looking for a Dispute Resolution Solicitor, who will play a key role in handling a wide range of dispute resolution matters. This includes conducting court hearings, demonstrating a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), and working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The role requires a specialism or leaning towards targeted areas of growth in the team, as well as a general all-round understanding of all areas of dispute resolution work. We are prepared to speak with applicants of varying levels of experience as our client would welcome both newly qualified and experienced candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a diverse caseload of dispute resolution matters.
  • Conduct court hearings and represent clients effectively in legal proceedings.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
  • Work independently on cases and collaborate seamlessly within the Dispute Resolution team.
  • Specialize or lean towards targeted areas of growth identified by the team.
  • Maintain a general all-round understanding of various areas within dispute resolution.
  • Fulfill all non-departmental requirements such as driving, IT literacy, and strong English skills.

Requirements:

  • 4 years or more PQE (Post-Qualified Experience).
  • Ability to conduct court hearings and represent clients in legal proceedings.
  • Good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Specialism or leaning towards targeted areas of growth in the Dispute Resolution team.
  • General all-round understanding of various areas within dispute resolution.
  • Fulfill all other non-departmental requirements, including the ability to drive, IT literacy, and strong English skills.
