Job title: Imedia Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time IMedia Teacher based in Hull, starting 2nd June 2025, and lasting initially until the end of the academic year. This is a temporary position to cover a period of sickness, and as such this could extend in the future. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale, between £31,650 and £49084 (this may change if pay scales increase in the new academic year). The school would be interested in applications from applicants who can work on a part time basis, so if you have at least 3 days availability/interest please feel free to apply.

This role will involve teaching Imedia to Key Media to Key Stage 4, and Computing to Key Stage 3 students, and will involve all the planning and marking associated with a teaching role. There is a large bank of resources available for the successful candidate and a strong head of department, so planning requirements for this role will be minimal.

Located in Hull, this school is easily accessed via car or via public transport. There is a large onsite car park for candidates who do drive. This school has an excellent reputation in the local area, and is part of a small, local, academy trust. Success in this role can open up roles within other local secondary and primary schools within the local area.

Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be joining an agency with a large number of schools in the local area who work extremely closely, and as such (after this placement) there will be lots of opportunities for work in a variety of different schools. This particular school treats it's temporary staff extremely well and treats them as part of the team.

  • Have experience working within schools in the UK.
  • Has experience supporting within UK schools
  • Has experience teaching Imedia to Key Stage 4 students
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

  • Legal right to work in the UK
