Risk & Compliance Manager拢40k-拢60k Fully RemoteLaw firm based in East Riding of YorkshireA boutique Law firm based in East Riding of Yorkshire is looking to recruit a Risk & Compliance Manager to join their firm for a departing Compliance Officer that is retiring.This law firm specialises mainly in Real Estate, Disputes resolution, Corporate Law, and Private Client, Family, and Residential Property.They have Clients that include Major Supermarkets.This firm offers a great working environment and culture and you will have autonomy for run the Risk and Compliance department how you see fit. There is no glass ceiling for this role and promotion in titles and responsibilities are on offer. You will be able to grow the Risk & Compliance department.The duties of the Risk & Compliance Manager for a law firm based in East Riding of Yorkshire will include but not limited to:路 Ensuring Compliance with the SRA standards are adhered to路 Dealing with client matters to regulatory standards such as conflicts of interests, data protection, 路 Assisting the COLP with SRA communications, investigating and advising on breaches路 Dealing with complaints/claims against the firm - liaise with SRA, Legal Ombudsman and insurers路 Lexcel accreditation and reports路 Deliver training to fee earnersThe requirements for the Risk & Compliance Manager role that is fully remote, for a law firm based in East Riding of Yorkshire are:路 Ideally Risk & Compliance experience from a Law firm路 For Solicitors that may want to move into a Risk role - no more targets!!路 For Practice Managers that would be keen for a pure compliance role路 Great communications skills and ability to influence and manage senior stakeholdersThis is an excellent opportunity for a risk & compliance, solicitor or practice manager, that wants a new challenge and have full autonomy on how to run a compliance department.
