Strategic Buyer – Hull - circa £45,0000 + CIPS - Flexible Hours + Great Benefits!

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering exclusively with a market leading manufacturer in Hull who are looking to recruit a Strategic Buyer to join their team.

This role will suit someone who comes from a manufacturing background with experience in strategic procurement and contract negotiation.

Strategic Buyer Duties:

  • Build and manage supplier relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure fair pricing
  • Source and onboard new suppliers with proper checks
  • Monitor supplier performance and address issues
  • Achieve cost savings and track market trends
  • Run tenders and recommend best-value options
  • Align payment terms with business goals
  • Support new product launches and cross-team collaboration
  • Maintain ethical standards and compliance

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday (flexi time)

Required skills & experience:

  • Background within a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Skilled negotiator with the ability to manage contracts, terms and pricing
  • Strong relationship management
