Fawkes & Reece are partnered with a leading Contractor with projects in UK, Ireland, Mainland Europe, USA and Canada with an approx turnover of 600m. They specialise within Industrial Data Centres, Advanced Manufacturing, and Pharmaceuticals for global leading clients.

About the Role of Quantity Surveyor:

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in shaping project commercial strategies, managing subcontract packages efficiently and maximising project value, working on a large 150m new build industrial unit in Hull. You will work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure the success of main and subcontract final accounts for one of the biggest companies globally.

Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:


* As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in supporting our quantity surveying team to ensure efficient cost management and project delivery.
* Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
* Support in conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure cost control and financial efficiency.
* Help monitor project progress, prepare interim valuations, and manage change orders.
* Assist in preparing tender documents, contracts, and procurement schedules.
* Contribute to the preparation of monthly cost reports and final accounts.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
* Participate in site visits and meetings to provide cost-related insights and support.
