In this role, you'll travel across the East Yorkshire area, conducting tendering & submissions, working closely with the owner, and playing a key role in ensuring mechanical and heating projects are delivered to the highest standards. Your Role As Estimator Will Include:
* Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and overheads.
* Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
* Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, including calculations and assumptions made during the estimation process.
The Successful Estimator Will Need:
* Proficiency in cost control techniques and methodologies.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
*A solid understanding of construction processes and materials is advantageous.
