Your new role
Your new role as a quantity surveyor will involve the following work on projects valued between 250k to 5m:
Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotationsNegotiating with subcontractors and suppliersProducing formal quotations to customersTaking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlinesKeep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal databaseContact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical informationEstablish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a good background working as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, have strong commercial skills and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
