What the Quotations Estimator job involves
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects.
- Review and manage your workload throughout the day to ensure efficiency of quotes produced, taking into account your customer priority lists.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather necessary information.
- Constantly review your work in progress, raising any anomalies or queries to the commercial team and account management teams.
- Analy s e project requirements and specifications to determine cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and material costs.
- Ensure all estimates are completed within specified timeframes.
Skills required
- Previous experience in an Estimating or Quotations based role.
- Excellent customer service skills both written and verbal
- Fully computer literate with MS Office
- Able to learn new systems and processes
- Experience of working with the Manufacturing / Engineering / Printing industry
Other information
- Monday to Friday 9.00 – 5.30
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Able to purchase up to 5 additional days holiday a year
