Union Officer

Brook Street are working with our long-standing client to recruit a temporary Union Officer to join their team covering their Humber region. This is an exciting position offering the chance for candidates to offer genuine support to a variety of healthcare professionals across the region.

This position will be on a hybrid working model, offering the flexibility to plan your own diaries and meet with union members across the region. You will be expected to attend occasional meetings in the Leeds office; however, these only tend to occur once per month.

Role - Union Officer

Location - Hybrid Flexible Working

Pay Rate - 26.23 per hour

Hours - Monday-Friday (9am-5pm, 35 hours per week)

Duration - 8-12 Weeks with potential extension

The focus of this role will be to work with established Senior Union Officers and assist them in the provision of services for union members. Day to day duties includes advice and representation on education, employment and professional practice matters for individuals and groups of members.

We are looking for an individual who has previous experience within employee relations. This can be from a variety of working backgrounds including Trade Union, HR or Healthcare experience.
