Job title: Maths Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Maths teacher in Hull ideally starting 1st September 2025 and lasting until at least October 17th 2025. This is a temporary position to cover a period of sickness absence, and as such may increase in the future. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale, between £32,916 and £51048 (this may change if pay scales increase in the new academic year). Scaled down to a daily rate, this results in a daily payment between £168.80 and £261.78 depending on experience and qualifications.

This role will involve teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Full planning and marking is expected, but there are some excellent lessons on bank making planning requirements minimal for this role. There is potential for an unqualified teacher/cover supervisor who is a Maths specialist/graduate to take on this role, with the planning being completed by the Head of Department at the school.

Located in Hull, there is a large onsite car park for candidates that do drive. The school has an excellent reputation, and fantastic leadership which fosters a creative and caring environment for teachers to learn and flourish. This school is part of a medium sized, local academy trust, so experience in this school could lead to further opportunities in the future.

  • Has experience supporting within UK schools
  • Has experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.

  • Legal right to work in the UK
