This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teachers and early career teachers alike to make a difference in the lives of young learners while developing their professional skills. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5 depending on your experience.

Teacher of Science Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and KS5
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support when needed
• Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Manage behaviour in the classroom effectively and professionally
• Work collaboratively with other staff members and school leadership teams
• Encourage curiosity and a love for science in students of all abilities

Science Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
• Experience working as a Science Teacher across UK schools.
• Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach up to GCSE (A-Level desirable)
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Passion for science education and a commitment to student progress
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
