Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential (EBD & Mental Health)
Full-Time | NVQ Level 3 | Residential Care Experience Required

Atrium Healthcare, on behalf of our client, is seeking compassionate and experienced Senior Support Workers to provide high-quality care to children with Emotional Behavioural Disorders (EBD) and mental health needs.

You will play a key role in creating a safe and nurturing home environment, working closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the best outcomes for the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Registered Manager in maintaining a structured, secure care setting

  • Deliver tailored emotional and behavioural support to children

  • Empower children through meaningful interventions and daily engagement

  • Develop and implement care plans in partnership with multidisciplinary teams

  • Act as a role model for less experienced team members

Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential (or equivalent)

  • Experience in a residential children’s care setting

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own car

  • Excellent communication and behavioural support skills

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care
