Job Introduction

Support WorkerPay rate: £14 per hour Shift Pattern: 8:00am - 14:00pm or 14:00pm - 20:00pm and sleeps.

A face-to-face Assessment Day for this role will take place on Friday 19th September 2025, between 9:00am and 4:00pm. Attendance is mandatory as it forms a key part of the interview and selection process if successful at telephone interview.

We’re looking for calm, compassionate, and understanding support workers to join a care team in Hull for a bright and gentle young person with a Brain Injury who experiences the world in a unique way.

About the person you'd be supporting

They live at home in a loving and supportive family environment, and he has a diagnosis of Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and a Severe Learning Disability.

They find joy in sensory-rich experiences, especially:

  • Relaxing in sensory rooms, which bring comfort and calm
  • Listening to soft music
  • Colouring alongside carers or family members
  • Swimming with the support of staff
  • Spending time outdoors, especially in the park on sunny days

Family is at the heart of their life—they enjoy time with their parents, and visiting with extended family brings them happiness and a sense of connection.
