Qualified Social Worker - Children and Families Disability Team (Hull)

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker with experience in disability services? We are currently seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join the Children and Families Disability Team based at Lil Balocca House, Hull on an ongoing contract.

In this role, you will be working closely with children and families where disability is a key factor. Your experience in disability support will be invaluable in assessing needs, safeguarding, and planning appropriate interventions to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and their families.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for children with disabilities and their families.

• Develop and implement support plans tailored to individual needs.

• Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams including health, education, and other social services.

• Attend and contribute to meetings related to safeguarding, child protection, and care planning.

• Ensure compliance with statutory guidelines and local policies.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration (HCPC or equivalent).

• Proven experience working within children's disability services or a similar field.

• Strong understanding of disability-related legislation and best practices.

• Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• Location: Lil Balocca House, Hull

• Contract Type: Ongoing

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Rate: Up to £35.48 per hour (umbrella company)

• Start Date: ASAP
